How to Make Chicken and Waffles

These are the basic steps for making this easy chicken with waffles. Please refer to the recipe card below for more detailed instructions.

STEP 1: WAFFLES

First, prepare the waffles per the package directions or recipe that you prefer. Keep the waffles warm in the oven.

STEP 2: CHICKEN

Meanwhile, heat the oil in the skillet, and then cut the chicken into bite sized pieces. Place flour, eggs (lightly beaten), and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Next, dredge each piece of chicken in the flour, eggs, breadcrumbs, then back into the egg, and into the breadcrumbs once more.

STEP 3: COOK

Next, cook the chicken in the skillet with the hot oil for a total cook time of 6 to ten minutes. Turn the chicken halfway through. Once cooked, remove from the pan and place on a wire rack.
