  • 2 cups, Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Chicken Breasts, cubed
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Asagio or Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken Tetrazzini

Step 1

In the bottom of the slow cooker, add olive oil, followed by cubed chicken, mushrooms, garlic, seasoning, onions and lemon juice.

Cook for 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.

Step 2

Combine the flour and heavy cream to make a roux.

Add the roux, cheese and butter to the slow cooker then stir to combine. Leave to cook for 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.

Serve over pasta with slices of mozzarella. Honestly, I love doing that–because a big slice of mozzarella on top of chicken tetrazzini is what Italian grandmas dream about. So creamy and delicious!
