One thing I love about cooking with chicken is that it’s the ultimate comfort food. Take this Homestyle Chicken and Dumplings recipe, for example. Chicken is just everything about this and it just wouldn’t be the same with any other meat!
Even though, supposedly, every other meat tastes like chicken. Yeah right, they’re just cheap impressions. LOL!
In all honesty, though, this is the most comfort food recipe I’ve ever enjoyed. If there’s a person down with the cold, down in the dumps, or we just need a recipe to warm us up, this is the dish that I turn to.
And, sometimes, it’s just nice to have a warm meal, even if it’s warm outside.
In fact, I wouldn’t turn down a bowl of homestyle chicken and dumplings if it was 110 degrees. It’s just that comforting.
