One of the best and most mild recipes you can enjoy. And believe me, you will enjoy it. Just toss it together and serve–and it’ll be just like a restaurant chicken alfredo.

And the best part is, since this is a slow cooker recipe, you know its going to be easy clean-up and low prep. About 10 minutes total effort from the moment you pull the chicken from the fridge.

I just love it so much. Just serve with some garlic bread and a bit of parmesan to top it all off!

What You Need to Make Slow Cooker Alfredo Chicken

I honestly thought this recipe was going to be SO HARD, but really, it turns out to be amazingly easy. If you can follow simple directions, this recipe is right up your alley. Here’s what you’re going to need:

  • 2 Chicken Breasts, cubed
  • 1 cup Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 cup Asagio, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

How to Make Slow Cooker Alfredo Chicken

Step 1

Place olive oil in the bottom of the slow cooker followed by the chicken broth, chicken, garlic and seasoning.

Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.

Step 2

Add the heavy whipping cream, asagio and mozzarella cheeses to the slow cooker and stir them in. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.

And serve–seriously, that’s it. You can cook your noodles ahead of time and just put them into the slow cooker about 10 minutes before serving, or you can boil your fettuccini noodles when you’re ready to serve.

Either way, this is a low-intensity meal with a lot of reward.
