Basically, I’m on a bender with tasty chicken and making my favorite take-out recipes. So, of course when I stumbled on making this 20-minute orange chicken recipe, well, I was thrilled to say the least.

Even better, the kids loved diving into their orange chicken, which was the perfect way to end the day!

What You Need to Make 20-Minute Orange Chicken Recipe

Easy 20-minute orange chicken is a super simple recipe. Just toss it all in the pan and go. Takes longer to get the kids to the table. Just check it out!

Here’s what you need:

  • 2 chicken breasts, skinned and cubed
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

How to Make 20-Minute Orange Chicken Recipe

Step 1

Coat the bottom of your pan with the sesame oil and place it over high heat. Add chicken, brown sugar and water then stir to combine, turning down the heat to medium high.

Step 2

Add the corn starch and mix.

Step 3

When the chicken starts to turn white on the edges, add the soy sauce and continue to stir periodically.

Step 4

Pour the orange juice over the top and stir sparingly while the chicken cooks for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked throughout.
