Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup

Sharing is caring!

There’s nothing like having a big bowl of Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup on a chilly day. It’s so much the epitome of comfort food, I just can’t help but love it. As do my kids and everyone else that might stop by for a bowl at lunch on the weekend.

Or dinner on a weeknight. Because this is an easy dump-and-run slow cooker recipe, I can just pop all the ingredients in when I’m walking out the door, then come home to home-cooked goodness. Kind of amazing, yeah?

But it’s more than that. It’s the bowl of soup that I give to the kids when they’re sick, the soup I send in their thermos on chilly days–and the memory of my mom doing the same.

It’s the egg noodle that does it for you, since it won’t disintegrate like normal noodles. And the broth. Rich broth with noodles?

That’s everything.
