I’m not gonna lie, these slow cooker buffalo chicken wings are seriously my favorite chicken appetizer recipe. Toss them in the slow cooker and forget about them–then they’re ready when the party starts!

Plus, juicy, tender and so flavorful, your guests are going to be asking you for the recipe.

What You Need To Make Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Wings

This is a very simple chicken recipe that’s no-fail. Seriously, anyone can make these, as long as you can follow some basic cooking instructions. Here’s what you need:

  • 1/2 cup Franks Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 lb Chicken Wings

How to Make This Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Wings

Step 1

Cut the chicken wings into parts, discarding the tips. I find using a sharp knife and cutting halfway through, then pulling the pieces apart is the most efficient way to cut chicken wings.

Step 2

Combine Miracle Whip, Franks Hot Sauce and spices in a small bowl.

Step 3

Mix contents of the bowl together until the sauce is consistent.

Pour sauce over the chicken wings and stir until they’re all coated.

Place chicken wings in the slow cooker and turn the slow cooker on to low for 6 hours or high for 4 before serving!
